Alternate(ly) VS Alternative (ly) (ထက္ေဇာ္ထူး)

Alternate(ly) နဲ႔ Alternative (ly) ဘာကြာသလဲ??

English မွာ "တူမေယာင္နဲ႔ကြဲ" တဲ့ စကားလံုးမ်ားစြာ ရွိပါတယ္။ affect နဲ႔ effect၊ altogether နဲ႔ all together စသျဖင့္ တူသေယာင္နဲ႔ အဓိပၸါယ္မတူၾကတဲ့ စကားလံုးမ်ားစြာ ရွိပါတယ္။ ဒီေန႔ေျပာမွာက အဲ့ဒီထဲကမွ alternate (ly) နဲ႔ alternative (ly) တို႔ ကြာျခားပံုပါ။
☆ alternate (adj) ရဲ႕အဓိပၸါယ္က "first one thing, then another thing and then the first thing again (ပထမတစ္ခုျဖစ္တယ္၊ အဲ့ေနာက္ ေနာက္ထပ္ တစ္ခုျဖစ္မယ္ ေနာက္ ပထမတစ္ခု ျပန္ျဖစ္တယ္) ျမန္မာလိုေတာ့ "တစ္လွည့္စီ" ေပါ့။ 
E.g She alternately cried and laughed. 
      သူ (မ) ငိုလိုက္ ရယ္လိုက္ တစ္လွည့္စီ ျဖစ္ေနတာဗ်။
Longman dictionary အရေတာ့ "တစ္ခုခုဟာ alternate days/weeks/months ျဖစ္ေနတယ္ဆိုရင္ အဲ့ဒါက တစ္ရက္/တစ္ပတ္/တစ္လ ျဖစ္လိုက္ ေနာက္ ရက္/အပတ္/လ မျဖစ္လိုက္ အဲ့လို ျဖစ္လိုက္ မျဖစ္လိုက္ တလွည့္စီ ျဖစ္ေနရင္" သံုးပါတယ္။ တစ္ခါက ေရးဖူးတဲ့ every other day/week/month ဆိုတဲ့ အသံုးနဲ႔ တူပါတယ္။
E.g Ko Phyo Wai Aung Ed used to upload his photos on Facebook on the alternate days but he is busy with his thesis. 
ကိုၿဖိဳးေဝေအာင္က (အရင္ကဆို) တစ္ရက္ေက်ာ္ေလာက္ ေဖ့စ္ဘုတ္မွာ ပံုတင္တာ၊ ခုေတာ့ thesis နဲ႔ သူအလုပ္ရႈပ္ေနတယ္ေလ။
☆ alternative (ly) က "တစ္ခုခုဟာ ကိုယ့္မွာ ရွိၿပီးသား တစ္ခုခုနဲ႔ မတူဘူး ၊ အသစ္အဆန္းျဖစ္တယ္၊ ရွိၿပီးသားေနရာမွာ အစားထိုးသံုးႏိုင္တယ္" အဲ့လို အဓိပၸာယ္ရပါတယ္။ "တစ္ခုမရရင္ တစ္ခုေရြးခ်ယ္စရာရွိတယ္" ေပါ့။ 
E.g There are alternative ways to study English. 
English ေလ့လာဖို႔ နည္းလမ္းအသြယ္သြယ္ ရွိပါတယ္။
E.g We can't use this room. Let's find an alternative room. 
ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ ဒီအခန္းကို သံုးလို႔မရဘူး၊ ေနာက္တစ္ခန္း ရွာၾကစို႔။

ဒီႏွစ္လံုးကို ေရာမ်ားေနခဲ့ရင္ ကြဲကြဲျပားျပား နားလည္သြားၿပီလို႔ ေမၽွာ္လင့္ပါတယ္။
