ဒီေန႔ေတာ့ as if နဲ႔ as though တို႔ရဲ႕ အသံုးေတြကို ေျပာျပပါရေစ။
☆ as if နဲ႔ as though ဟာ Conjunction မ်ားျဖစ္ၾကၿပီး comparison (ႏွိဳင္းယွဥ္ေျပာဆို) တဲ့အခါမွာ သံုးပါတယ္။ as if နဲ႔ as though ဟာအဓိပၸါယ္တူပါတယ္။ as if ကေတာ့ ပိုအသံုးမ်ားပါတယ္။
☆ as if နဲ႔ as though ကို စိတ္ကူးယဥ္အေျခအေန (imiginary situation) (သို႔) အမွန္မဟုတ္ေပမယ့္ ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေျခရွိတဲ့ အေျခအေနမ်ိဳးေတြမွာ အသံုးျပဳႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

## real situation နဲ႔ imaginary situation ကို ႏွိဳင္းယွဥ္ေျပာဆိုရာတြင္ as if နဲ႔ as though ကို သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ [Longman dictionary]

သူ(မ)က ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ကို ကေလးေလးေတြလို သေဘာထား စကားေျပာတယ္။

(ၾကည့္ဇမ္း) သူ(မ)က ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကို အရင္က မေတြ႕ဘူးသလိုမ်ိဳးပဲ။
☆ as if နဲ႔ as though ရဲ႕ေနာက္မွာ non-finite clause (သို႔) prepositional phrase လိုက္ၿပီးလည္း သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

သူတို႔ေတြ ေပ်ာ္ပြဲစားခရီးမွာလိုပဲ ေအာ္ေနလိုက္ၾကတာ။

☆ feel နဲ႔ look ရဲ႕ေနာက္မွာလည္း as if နဲ႔ as though သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

ေသာကေတြ အားလံုးေပ်ာက္ကြယ္သြားသလို သူ(မ) ခံစားရတယ္။

Informal English မွာ like ကို as if / as though ပံုစံအတိုင္း သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ Formal မွာ incorrect text အေနနဲ႔ ယူဆတယ္ေနာ္။

(အမယ္ေလး) သူတို႔ေတြ လုပ္ေနကိုင္ေနတာက ဒီအေဆာင္ႀကီးကို သူတို႔ပဲ ပိုင္သလိုလိုနဲ႔။
